At EFHS, we’re committed to helping individuals overcome financial and personal challenges through meaningful, government-recognised programs.
As a Registered WDO Sponsor, we support clients to reduce their unpaid fines by participating in activities that promote wellbeing, skill development, and community connection.
The Work and Development Orders (WDO) program is an initiative by the NSW Government that allows people who are unable to pay their fines to clear them through approved activities — instead of financial payment.
EFHS is a Registered WDO Sponsor, meaning we are authorised to help eligible individuals participate in approved programs and activities to reduce or eliminate their unpaid fines while supporting their wellbeing and personal growth.
This program is designed for people experiencing hardship, such as those with mental health conditions, cognitive or intellectual disabilities, addiction, homelessness, or financial difficulties.
You have a mental health condition.
You have an intellectual or cognitive disability.
You have an addiction to drugs, alcohol, or other substances.
You are homeless or living in temporary accommodation.
You are experiencing serious financial hardship (for example, receiving Centrelink benefits).
If you are unsure, our EFHS team can assess your situation and confirm your eligibility.
Learn how EFHS helps you register, participate in approved activities, and reduce your fines through the WDO Program.
Contact EFHS to discuss your situation and provide details about your fines.
We’ll confirm your eligibility and register you into the WDO program.
You can complete activities such as:
Counselling or therapy sessions
Mental health or wellbeing programs
Drug and alcohol treatment
Life skills or financial literacy courses
Vocational training or volunteer work
As you complete activities, your fines will be reduced — up to $1,000 per month can be cleared depending on participation and progress.
Enforcement actions (like driver licence suspension) may also be lifted once your WDO is approved.
You can take part in a wide range of approved activities under the WDO Program, including:
There is no cost to join the WDO Program through EFHS.
All activities are fully supported by our trained professionals and partner organisations.
If you need help choosing the right activity, our team will guide you every step of the way — ensuring the program suits your personal situation and goals.
Let’s turn your challenges into opportunities.
Our friendly team is here to help you reduce your fines, improve your wellbeing, and take the next step toward a better future.
Providing compassionate, personalised support to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life across all stages of their journey.
